Pankaj K Gupta

CEO , The Forerunner

Pankaj K Gupta had the idea of performing a sustainable fashion show in the Mt Everest region on August 30, 2019 during the ‘DEBUT’ fashion show. That evening was the first time he was questioned by the public as a lunatic. But, over the next six months, he proved them wrong and made history in the world of fashion by putting on a fashion show on the world’s highest platform.

Pankaj K Gupta is an international fashion analyst who has worked with a variety of governmental and non-governmental organizations around the world. Pankaj K Gupta played a key role and directed various initiatives all throughout the world, from the United States to Europe. After settling in Kathmandu, Nepal, it was his passion for the expression “use what you got and provide the result” that inspired him to come up with the novel idea. He had fashion contacts from Milan and was living in Mt Everest nation, so he staged a fashion show on Mt Everest, a one-of-a-kind fusion of the fashion and adventure industries.

He is now the Mentor of The Mt Everest Fashion Runway, and his objective is to stage shows in the same landscape for other regions in various languages with unique Supermodels from all over the world.

Ramila Nemkul

COO , The Designer

Ramila Nemkul, the official fashion designer, is responsible for the show’s biodegradable and sustainable fabrics. Her commitment to sustainable materials and skill in this area has drawn the attention of the global fashion industry to the Himalayas as a way to slow down rapid fashion. Ramila Nemkul had been working with the most rare textiles, such as Felt (kneaded wool) and Pashmina, because these materials have incredible insulating capabilities and are handcrafted in the Himalayan foothills, where they are widely utilized by the Sherpa people.

She is pursuing her aim of launching these materials as a Prêt-à-Porter line in the international fashion market. She has presented her cutting-edge designs under the KASA brand on the Mt Everest Fashion Runway, making her the only fashion designer in the world (in any category) to achieve a Guinness World Record.

Ramila Nemkul has been a fashion designer for the past 17 years. Her fashion taste is one-of-a-kind, and she uses just a few hues. Her study on sustainable design is so vast that she has something fresh for the world for the next eight seasons of the Mt Everest Fashion Runway.
